I started in residential roofing. Not because it was the plan — because it was the work available, and I was going to be the best at whatever I did. Over 14 years, that mentality carried me from residential crews to commercial project management to building an entire commercial division from scratch.
Today I run the Commercial Division at Pro Roofing KC — a Nexis Holding Group company. I've scoped and closed contracts from Kansas City to 16 states, including federal government facilities and tribal jurisdiction projects most contractors won't touch. The pipeline I've built is over $50M and growing.
What drives me isn't the dollar figure. It's the precision. It's walking a roof nobody else could figure out, seeing the problem clearly, and delivering a solution that holds for 20 years. It's building systems — APEX, our AI-driven bid and estimating platform — that make our team operate like a company ten times our size.
We're scaling from $4M to $100M. And I'm building the infrastructure to get there — the people, the processes, the technology, and the reputation. That's the work.
